La Mina is a farm with a rich history, located in the Nariño department, Buesaco municipality. The farm covers 14 hectares, 11 of which are dedicated to coffee cultivation. There are approximately 60,000 trees planted on the farm, including 20,000 Caturra, 30,000 Colombia, and about 10,000 exotic varieties (Geisha and Pink Bourbon). The Caturra trees are around 50 years old, suggesting they are among the first trees of this variety planted in Nariño.

The farm is well-known in Colombia due to its repeated participation in the COE competition, where it consistently placed in the top 10. Despite submitting traditional Caturra lots, coffee from La Mina often scored 88+ points, reflecting excellent farm management and a responsible approach to coffee production.

In 2025, the farm harvested its first Geisha crop, which proved to be very successful right away, despite the classic washed processing.
